SAMIIP, ratified by Kunshan People's Government, Jiangsu Province, is the unique professional park of this type in China and even the world.

Skyray Instrument Co.,Ltd, established in 1992, is a company specialized in developing, producing, selling and serving X-ray fluorescence analytical instruments. After 15 years of development, it has won two World’s No.1 titles: No. 1 in Sales Amount and No 1. in Product Categories.

Skyray Instrument is never satisfied with the achievement it has made. In 2006, through gaining support from Kunshan CPC Committee and government, Skyray Instrument set up its intelligent R&D Center--Skyray Building--in Kunshan. At present, SAMIIP is planned to be built, which is attached with great emphasis and closely attended by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and Suzhou Municipal Government. SAMIIP is situated in Kunshan High-tech Zone. This Zone was recognized by National Development and Reform Commission as the provincial-class development zone in April 2006. The Zone is divided into six characteristic parks and four industrial bases, i.e. Private-owned Science and Industry Park, Trade and Material Flow Park, Modern Industry Service Park, American Industries Village, Qinghua Science Park and Agriculture and Ecology Park. The four bases are Renewable Energy Industry Base, Model and Equipment Manufacturing Industry Base, Special Chemical Industry Base and Robot Industry Base. Up to now, more than 600 foreign enterprises with registered capital of 4 billion USD and 6,400 domestic projects of capital of 13 billion RMB have been introduced into the Zone.

SAMIIP, construction of which is divided into two phases, covers an area of 66,666 square meters. The total building area in Phase I is to be 34,000 square meters with an investment of 100 million RMB. A ten-story intelligent R&D building and a villa-like factory will be erected. R&D base

As an R&D base, the emphasis of R&D will be put on analytical and measuring instruments such as Spectrometers, Chromatographers and Mass Spectrometers. And another aspect is to make the hardware manufacturing and software development interrelate with each other. This serves for the construction of an industrial group of all analytical and measuring instruments, promotion of the development of China analytical and measuring industry and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and formation of a big effective shared public platform of the industry.

Manufacturing base

We are going to build the park into a professional and integrated manufacturing base. It is the key to attract innovative enterprises, projects and individuals. A complete supply chain of R&D, production, manufacturing, sales, and after-sale service of China analytical and measuring instrument industry is planned. We will further strength the Production –Learning -Research cooperation with the Chinese universities, scientific research institutes and foreign technical exchange societies in order to reach or lead the international industrial standard on basis of leading status in domestic industry.

Marketing base

On purpose of marketing base, the park will provide complete solution to the enterprises for their project operation and development strategies and it will integrate the commercial market resources at home and abroad. The base aims to be an all-in-one marketing base for the analytical and measuring instrument industry featured for uniform marketing planning, uniform design of business plan and uniform promotion of company images.

The park will take advantage of the only professional industrial park in analytical and measuring instrument industry. It is decided that tha park will grow into a talents highland for all elites in research, development and innovation of analytical and measuring instrument industry, as it will hold various kinds of academic exchange such as symposium and lectures and other professional science popularizing education all over the park.
